 Maryam is the owner and designer behind Home by DaSh, and an ASID member. After more than 20 years selling enterprise software to the federal government, she found her way into renovation — her own builder-grade home, multiple rental properties, a full gut renovation of a 6,200 sq ft house, and a house flip. Friends soon started asking for her help with their own spaces, and that's what led her to start Home by DaSh.

 Yes — Home by DaSh is built for projects of any size, from a single statement piece to refreshing an entire room. You don't need a whole-house renovation to work with us.

Friends soon started asking for her help with their own spaces, and that's what led her to start Home by DaSh.  A design refresh works with your existing space and often your existing furniture — new layout, new pieces, new finishes, without construction. Home by DaSh focuses on refreshes, furnishing, and sourcing — not construction or full renovations. 

 We focus on design — space planning, finishes, and furniture — while a general contractor leads any construction work. We're happy to work alongside your contractor (or recommend one) to make sure the design vision carries through from planning to finished space.

 Most beach-town homes default to the classic blue-and-white coastal look — but a lot of homeowners are realizing coastal is a vibe, not a color palette. We're seeing more people bring in what they truly love — Mid-Century Modern, ultra-modern, farmhouse, cottage — and bolder colors like yellow, orange, and pink, all within a coastal feel. We're here for it. 

 Starting at $250 for the first room, with pricing based on the scope of your project. We'll walk through exact costs during your free discovery call. 

 Your call is where we get to know your space and your style. We'll talk through: the room(s) you want to work on and what's not working now; your style (photos help!); your budget; your timeline; what you're keeping vs. replacing. From there, we put together three design directions for you to choose from. 

 Most projects move from discovery call to final product list within a few weeks, depending on how quickly you choose from your three design directions. Furniture lead times vary by vendor and are shared with you upfront. 

 Let us know — we'll talk through what's missing and refine the direction until it feels right before we move forward with sourcing. 

 No — delivery, assembly, and installation are handled by you or your own contractor. Our focus is the design and sourcing: finding the right pieces for your space, whether you're in Flagler Beach, Ocean City, or anywhere along the coast. We're always happy to help however we can along the way. 

 Each vendor has their own return and exchange policy. If an issue comes up, we work with the vendor on your behalf to resolve it, based on their specific terms. 

  Let us know right away with photos of the damage and the packaging. We'll work directly with the vendor on your behalf to get it replaced or resolved, based on their policy.
